Extract Website Data with AI

Thunderbit’s AI Web Scraper Chrome extension reads any website and extracts structured data with AI Suggest Fields and one-click scraping. Collect domains, emails, phone numbers, product details, and more from listings, directories, and search results, including pagination. Scrape subpages to enrich each row, and extract data from PDFs, docs, and images when the info is not in HTML. Clean, categorize, summarize, and format fields as you scrape, then export to Google Sheets, Airtable, or Notion for workflows your team can reuse.

Learn how to extract root domains from URLs and email addresses

Extract root domains from URLs

Domain Name Extractor takes any URL and returns the core domain only, removing protocols, subdomains, paths, and tracking parameters. Paste links like https://blog.example.co.uk/page?ref=ad and get example.co.uk back, ready for sorting and analysis. It’s built for sales, marketing, and operations teams who work with large link lists and need consistent domain values for reporting, deduping, and segmentation.

Parse domains from email addresses

When you input an email address, the tool extracts the domain after the @ and normalizes it to the root domain, so user@mail.example.com becomes example.com. This helps teams clean lead lists, group contacts by company domain, and spot personal vs. business email patterns. It’s useful for anyone preparing outreach lists, auditing inbound leads, or standardizing contact data before importing into a CRM.

Clean and standardize data for filtering and deduping

Use the extracted Domain output to filter out unwanted sources, merge duplicates, and create reliable pivots in spreadsheets or databases. Because the result excludes subdomains and protocols, you can compare domains consistently across mixed inputs like URLs and emails. This is especially helpful when you’re consolidating exports from multiple tools, cleaning scraped datasets, or building a domain-based view of accounts and prospects.

Support domain-based analysis for sales, ecommerce, and research

Root domains make it easier to analyze lists at the company or site level rather than the page level. Sales teams can group prospects by company domain, ecommerce teams can categorize competitor sites, and analysts can summarize traffic sources or partner lists without noise from subdomains. The tool is designed to stay accurate even with complex domain structures such as multi-part TLDs like .co.uk.
