How to Convert PNG to Text Using Thunderbit
STEP 1Download and InstallDownload and install the Thunderbit Chrome Extension from the Thunderbit Chrome Extension Download Page. Once installed, log in or create a free account to get started.
STEP 2Open ExtensionOpen Chrome and launch the Thunderbit extension. In Thunderbit, find and open the PNG to Text Converter. Under "Upload a PNG," add one PNG file (up to 10MB). If needed, set the "language" dropdown to the primary language shown in the image, or keep the default Auto-detect (recommended) to help OCR accuracy.
STEP 3Click the Convert PNG to Text ButtonClick the "Convert PNG to Text" button to run OCR on the uploaded PNG. Thunderbit will return the extracted content as plain text, preserving line breaks and reading order when possible. Copy the text for use in another app, or download and save it for editing and search. If the image contains no readable text, the result will show: No text detected.
