How to Convert PDFs to Excel Using Thunderbit
STEP 1Download and InstallDownload and install the Thunderbit Chrome Extension from the Thunderbit Chrome Extension Download Page. Once installed, log in or create a free account to get started.
STEP 2Open ExtensionOpen the Thunderbit Chrome Extension, then select the "PDF to Excel Converter" tool. In the "Upload PDF(s)" tab, add your file(s) by dragging and dropping up to 10 PDFs into the upload area or clicking to browse. If you only need certain pages, set "page_selection_mode" to "specific_pages" and enter page numbers or ranges in "pages_to_convert" (for example, 1,3,5-7). If you want the whole document, keep "page_selection_mode" set to "all_pages" or leave "pages_to_convert" blank.
STEP 3Click the Convert to Excel ButtonClick the "Convert to Excel" button to start the conversion. Thunderbit will extract tables and structured data from the PDF and generate an .xlsx file that preserves the original table structure, cell layout, and formatting as closely as possible. When processing finishes, download the resulting Excel file(s). If you uploaded multiple PDFs, you will receive one .xlsx per PDF, named after the original file, and you can save each file to your device for editing and analysis.
