How to Check a BIN Using Thunderbit
STEP 1Download and InstallDownload and install the Thunderbit Chrome Extension from the Thunderbit Chrome Extension Download Page. Once installed, log in or create a free account to get started.
STEP 2Open ExtensionOpen the Thunderbit Chrome Extension, then open the BIN Checker tool and go to the "Check a BIN" tab. In the "bin" input field, enter the first 6 to 8 digits of the payment card as digits only, with no spaces or symbols, such as 457173.
STEP 3Click the Check BIN ButtonClick the "Check BIN" button to run the lookup. Thunderbit returns a table with BIN details, including Issuing Bank, Card Brand, Card Type, Card Level, and Country of Issuance. Export the results to Excel, Google Sheets, Airtable, or Notion, or download as CSV or JSON.
