How to Calculate a Discount Using Thunderbit
STEP 1Download and InstallDownload and install the Thunderbit Chrome Extension from the Thunderbit Chrome Extension Download Page. Once installed, log in or create a free account to get started.
STEP 2Open ExtensionOpen the Thunderbit Chrome Extension, then select the Discount Calculator tool. Choose the tab that matches your inputs: use "Original Price + Discount %" if you know the original price and discount percentage, or use "Original Price + Final Price" if you know the original price and the final price. Enter your values using decimals when needed (for example, 100.00 and 12.5).
STEP 3Click the Calculate Discount ButtonClick the "Calculate Discount" button. Thunderbit will validate your inputs and return a text result that includes Amount Saved, Final Price, and Discount Percentage, each formatted to two decimal places, plus a short summary line showing the formula used.
