Calculate ACoS for Amazon ads

Use the Amazon ACoS Calculator to compute Advertising Cost of Sales with a simple formula: (Ad Spend ÷ Sales) × 100. Enter your campaign ad spend and attributed sales in the same currency to get a clear percentage that shows how much you paid in ads for each dollar of revenue. It’s built for Amazon sellers, PPC managers, and ecommerce teams who need quick performance checks.

Handle edge cases and keep results readable

The calculator includes practical safeguards so your reporting stays accurate. If Sales is missing or equals 0, it returns an ACoS status that explains why the metric can’t be computed. If Ad Spend is 0 while Sales is greater than 0, it returns 0%. Results are rounded to up to two decimals and formatted without trailing zeros, making them easy to paste into notes or reports.

Optimize bids and budgets using a single KPI

ACoS is a core metric for deciding whether to scale, pause, or refine campaigns. Use the output to compare ad groups, keywords, or product targets, then adjust bids and budgets based on efficiency. Ecommerce operators can pair ACoS with margins to set target thresholds, spot overspending, and prioritize campaigns that support profitability goals during launches, promotions, or seasonal peaks.

Standardize team reporting and campaign reviews

Because the tool returns a clean text result in a consistent format, teams can use it in weekly PPC reviews, performance summaries, and SOPs. Analysts can calculate ACoS for multiple campaigns and record the percentages in spreadsheets, dashboards, or internal docs. This helps align stakeholders on what “good” performance looks like and supports faster decisions across agencies, brands, and in-house teams.
