How to Extract YouTube Transcripts Using Thunderbit
STEP 1Download and InstallDownload and install the Thunderbit Chrome Extension from the Thunderbit Chrome Extension Download Page. Once installed, log in or create a free account to get started.
STEP 2Open ExtensionOpen the Thunderbit Chrome Extension, then select the YouTube Transcript Extractor. In the "Enter YouTube Video URL" tab, paste the full YouTube link into the "video_url" field. If you want a specific transcript language, enter a code like "en" or "es" in "preferred_language". Choose a transcript format in the "format" dropdown: select "paragraphs" for clean text without timestamps, or "timestamps" to include time markers before each segment.
STEP 3Click the Extract transcript ButtonClick the "Extract transcript" button to generate the transcript from the provided video URL.
