How to Split CSV Files Using Thunderbit
STEP 1Download and InstallDownload and install the Thunderbit Chrome Extension from the Thunderbit Chrome Extension Download Page. Once installed, log in or create a free account to get started.
STEP 2Open ExtensionOpen the Thunderbit Chrome Extension, then select the CSV Splitter tool from the menu. In the Choose a CSV file tab, upload the CSV file from your device. Set the rows per split value if you want each file to contain a specific number of data rows, or switch to the Split into files tab if you want Thunderbit to divide the file into a set number of output files. You can also choose whether each split file should include headers.
STEP 3Click the Split CSV ButtonClick the Split CSV button to process the file on your device. Thunderbit will create smaller CSV files based on your selected criteria, preserve the original data, and keep the file order clear with names such as part_1.csv and part_2.csv. When processing is complete, download the split files to your device.
